The project
Create Galaxy branded core cards that stand out from the competition. Printed on a 24pt cardboard, laminated but still writable. Dimensions to fit within a 3" core of print media. Visible information should be most important and non-sensitive details. Concealed information should be for "more details" upon reorder and viewable only to the print shop purchaser.
Roadblock
First we opted for a tint of each brand colour including Galaxy™ Atmospheric Blue, Galactic Green, and Champagne Supernova.
Our first attempt was a simple solution, following suit with other available core cards but using Galaxy brand colours. Because the brand colours are too saturated to write over, we went with a tint. Ultimately, the tints did not represent the Galaxy brand in the way we had wanted. An additional consideration at the time was it would cost more to print multiple colours and until we know the product is successful, we wanted to streamline cost and operations with just one colour.
